Arnie Johansen
Arnie graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He served three years as an infantry officer in United States Marine Corps then returned to Kearney, Nebraska where he began his career as an independent insurance agent. He joined Copple Insurance in 1986. Arnie is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management, an Accredited Adviser in Insurance and he taught insurance at the University of Nebraska at Kearney for several years. He is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Nebraska and the Independent Insurance Agents of Lincoln. He has also served on Chamber of Commerce committees and is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lincoln.
Ed Copple
Ed has a lifetime of experience in the insurance business. His experience includes insuring individuals and families for all types of insurance and insuring all types of businesses from manufacturing-to contractors-to retailers-to wholesalers, etc., etc. He has achieved the designation of CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and ARM (Associate in Risk Management). Only 17 agents in the entire state of Nebraska have achieved both of these designations. He has served as the legislative chairman for the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska for many years and has received the distinguished service award from them on four different occasions.
During Ed’s career, he has never had a claim made for an error and an omission for insurance coverages for any individual, family or business. This is a testimony to his knowledge and expertise.
Kathleen Caffey
After graduating from college, Kathleen joined Employers Mutual’s claims department where she worked with workers’ compensation claims.
Later she joined Allied Insurance where she worked in the finance department, as an assistant corporate planner, as Allied’s first female marketing representative and in their information technology department.
After moving to Nebraska to get married she worked in two independent insurance agencies, as the Education Director of the Nebraska Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers and for the past 25 years she has been the Personal Lines Insurance Manager of Copple Insurance.
Donna Debban
Donna started her insurance career with an independent insurance agency in 1995 where she became a licensed agent and worked with the agency’s personal insurance customers.
She joined Copple Insurance Agency in 2001 initially serving business insurance customers.
She has been one of our personal insurance representatives for several years and in August of this year (2011) she will be celebrating 10 years at Copple Insurance.
